New Truck Driver Program

Get a jumpstart on your career at TSI. We offer a comprehensive six-week paid CDL A training program for anyone interested in becoming a truck driver.

Course Overview

At TSI, we believe that new truck drivers need on-the-road experience. Although our paid CDL training is six weeks, only three of those days are spent inside a classroom. During the rest of your program, you’ll get real OTR experience and training from a professional TSI truck driver.

Here’s what you can expect to learn from our program:

  • Planning for deliveries
  • Performing pre-trip inspections
  • Dealing with difficult customers
  • Recognizing hazards while driving
  • Tips for avoiding accidents and injuries
  • Proper steering techniques
  • Proper load securing techniques
  • Federal regulation guidance, including logbook requirements
